Clamp-Style Jaw Mount Assemblies MOW Equipment Solu�ons, Inc. has developed new 18” Jaw Moun�ng Assemblies. This new design reduces failures of the 1/4” bolt that retains the guide rod in the Jaw Moun�ng. The 1/4” bolt is replaced with the 1/2” bolt that is counter sunk into the Jaw Mount and threaded on the opposite side to eliminate the lock nut that also shears off during normal use of the machine. This new design also eliminates the need to remove ballast from under the workhead to replace the anvil since the Jaw Mount Assembly can be disassembled.

1/2” Counter Sunk Bolt to replace the 1/4” bolt that is prone to break.
This slit in the Jaw Mount allows the Guide Rod to slip in and allows tolerance to clamp the Guide Rod with the 1/2” bolt.

The threaded hole in the Jaw Mount removes the need for the 1/4”-20 Lock Nut.
